Yes, if requested.

Is it possible to have stainless steel nail plates?
Yes stainless steel nail plates can be arranged. It needs to be requested and additional costs apply.

Is it possible to have nail plates painted?
Yes, they can be powder coated. It needs to be requested and additional costs apply.

Can we provide all associated timber for a building?
Yes. We can provide all timber from the bearers right thru to the roofing battens.

Where does the timber come from?
Predominantly from Australia – 80% Australian Grown with 20% imported timber.

What are the advantages of using a timber frame rather than a steel frame?
a.User friendly – tradesmen prefer timber as it is easier to nail than screw
b.Wood is a commercially grown product, while steel destroys land as they mine iron ore;
c.Safer in a fire Timber will not collapse from fire, as steel will as soon as it is heated.
d.No squeaks and noises from a timber frame. As steel makes noise when there is change in the temperature.
